Body Waxing: Efficient Hair Elimination OfficialWire (press release)
This is a technique used to get rid of needless hair present in diverse body parts from the cause by applying a thin cover of wax onto them. The result of body hair waxing depends a lot on our hair expansion outline & may last up to an utmost interlude of six weeks. Body waxing can be skillful both at a salon & home. A broad variety of body hair waxing types such as male body wax, Brazilian wax, leg wax, arm or underarm wax, bikini was, eyebrow wax & many more are accessible these days. While some of them can be complete right at home but others require to be performed by a specialized aesthetician or cosmetologist.
The average body waxing technique constitutes a plain process of applying a thin coating of wax above the enviable body area & afterward pressing a paper strip or cloth over it only to be ripped off quicker in the course contrary to hair expansion. As a consequence, hair gets detached from the root totally along with the wax. People having responsive skin favor to use one more waxing method called hard waxing. Here, hard wax is worn in place of strip wax. Such body hair waxing methods are usually handled by a technician without the use of cloths or paper strips.

Hair waxing?
I have a lot of hair on my body and I want it off. Some people suggested waxing. I have no idea what waxing is. Can you provide me with information on how I do it, and where I can purchase the necessary materials?
Can I buy waxing kits at stores like Giant or Safeway?
first answer is right! but waxing is very painful! shaving could be better but doesn't last very long! (waxing can last weeks!)
any store that sells products like shampoo and soap should have wax!
What is better for getting rid of back hair, waxing or shaving?
The wife and I are going to Maui in 1 month. I've got back hair, and we've done waxing before and shaving. Shaving creates red bumps and in-grown hairs. Waxing seems to be ok, but sometimes bumps form as well. Which is better for a male with the dreaded back hair issue? Is there anything to stop the red bumps from forming?
I would suggest waxing because it lasts longer. It is not as painful as they make it out to be on tv. Usually you wont get red bumps unless you where something that irritates the area. Your best bet is to research a really good waxer in your area (don't go to a cheap salon, it's not worth it). Then clear a whole day for your appointment. Go get your wax, then relax the rest of the day, shirtless.
Ask the waxer if there is anything she/he suggests you put on your back to stop irritations.
** Also make your appointment at least 2-3 days before you go to Maui, so any redness will go away.
Any tea tree body lotion will help to keep the bumps down and rash at bay - it is also soothing as both treatments can be harsh on the skin. Aloe vera gel also worth considering.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Where can I get hair waxing sheets sold separately from the wax?
Hair waxing sheets as in the paper that comes with the hair waxing kit.
If so, where can I get them?
What is a good home hair waxing brand?
I need to remove some hair. What is a good, easy to use and cheap home waxing brand? Any suggestions would help thank you!
i use sally hansen. they are all pretty awful though because it's hard to wax yourself, imo.
How much money do you spend on your beauty routine ie. hair, waxing, nails?
I am trying to cut down on my beauty expenses but don't know how I can. I spend $80 for a color and cut and $130 for a color cut and highlite (I get highlites only every other time and color everytime). Plus, waxing my eyebrows is $30 - I try to go every few months and keep them maintained in between, but I'd really like to go every 40 weeks. She does an amazing job and I can't give this up! I sometimes get my nails down, so maybe $30 a month for that. Plus my makeup and face products.... Ugh... Any suggestions on how to still look good but be more cost effective? I try to do my nails myself most of the time. The hair cuts a big chunk.
Sorry - I meant 4 weeks for getting my brows done. That's what I'd like to aim for.
Maybe I can reallocate money, and cut out some other expenses to make room for these expenses?
I have natural nails and yes, they are much prettier. :)
$0. I pluck my own eyebrows, my friend's mom is a hair stylist and cuts my own hair, and I don't do my nails.
I think that if you are getting acrylic nails, you could cut that out, because natural nails look a lot nicer.
Also, maybe gradually grow out your natural hair colour, and when it's natural, just colour it with semis.
How long do you stay hair-free after waxing?
Just on average, how long can you go between one hair waxing and another?
hair cycles are every 2 weeks so if you just started a hair cycle then about 2 weeks if its about to end then a few days i have no idea how to tell when ur starting a hair cycle though srri. just trying it them re-wax or pluck when hairs start growing back
what works better to get rid of body hair? waxing or shaving?
what works better to get rid of body hair? waxing or shaving?
and how do you do either one without breaking out or getting a rash? Is it true soap and water works better than shaving cream? Where and what brands of wax should I get?
Oh just about any part...
My legs, armpits,arms,back,etc
I really hate ANY body hair, I want all of it gone!
Why does it matter? Dose shaving work better for some areas and waxing works better for others?
Definitely waxing. It's not hard to do yourself at home, as long as you know what you doing. The source link is a series of videos about how to do waxing at home - PLEASE watch that before you try, especially if you've never done it before. You don't want to have a 40-Year-Old-Virgin scene on your hands. Good luck.
How can i make a homemade wax for hair waxing?
I have very hard, coarse hair and those wax strips DO NOT work for me, nair isn't strong enough and i'm tired of shaving all the time. It is so sensitive that i have to shave once a week or it will just bleed on top for ingrown hairs. So can you give me a recipe for a strong wax? Or a brand?
Do i have to use some kind of paper to pull it off or just pull the wax off?
Ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
¼ cup water
¼ cup lemon juice
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Method
Pour the sugar, water and lemon juice all together in a saucepan, and heat it over a low flame. Keep stirring the mixture to avoid burning. Stir it until all the sugar has melted, and you have a thick brown liquid. Let it cool slightly before using it. It can be stored in a heat proof container for later use.
Store it in fridge. It can be easily warmed up in the microwave.
It a natural home made wax that can be used for waxing for arms, legs, underarms, upper lips and eyebrows.
Is there any other alternative to hair waxing?
I have been shaving my hair down there since i was 13 years old. The hair has grown pretty thick due to continual shaving. I'm scared to go to a waxing parlor. It's gotten pretty thick and I'm afraid it would be too painful.
Is there a possible way to wax it without the ouch? Is there any other do-it-yourself way to remove the hair?
I would not want to resort to laser treatment fyi
thanks!
first, hair doesn't grow back thicker. it only looks that way because you're shaving off the top of the hair, making the end look blunt, when initially it was tapered and finer-looking. i have hair that is slightly thicker as well, and waxing actually doesn't hurt too bad! plus, ripping it out from the follicle will make them grow back with that tapered end, thus less thick.
you could try a numbing cream. i had laser hair removal a few years ago and had to use a professional-grade numbing cream that was a little expensive, but i lost complete sensation for about an hour and a half or so. it'd definitely come in handy if you're getting waxed down there.
What's the difference between plucking and waxing hair?
What I mean is:
Doesn't waxing and plucking have the same effect on hair?
I'm assuming they have the same effect, because they are both pulling the hair out.
Please explain why with your answer.
waxing is said to last longer. i guess because your ripping it out like you get the root and everthing,
